The African Pioneer Foundation Trust (APFT) CSI is based on addressing the development in the townships and previously disadvantaged communities and individuals of the Eastern Cape (E.C). APFT robust intervention programs include the following:-

GOING BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

The Going Back To School Campaign is a provincial program me that seeks to assist impoverished learners with school uniforms and other needs. The AFPF adopted four schools tow in Uitenhage and two other schools in Peddie for uniforms.

SUSTAINABLE AND SELF-HELP/ SELF-RELIANCE COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The programmes promote a necessity to develop organizational dependence and sustainability through self-help programmes that are to be facilitated and spearheaded by the African Pioneer Training Department and Resource Unit. APFT supports three soup kitchens in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan. Two of whom have started embarking on the sustainable programs since February.

UNIVERSITY AND TERTIARY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM ME

This progamme focuses on the needy students that have enrolled at the South African universities or Nursing Colleges tertiary institution but could not get bursaries or study loans or grants. Two university students at NMMU and one at the University of Pretoria are getting assistance through this programme.

STAFF BENEFICIARY EDUCATION FINANCIAL SUPPORT

This progamme focuses on the needy students that have enrolled at the South African universities or Nursing Colleges tertiary institution but could not get bursaries or study loans or grants. There are currently two tertiary students that are benefiting from the support programme.
